7 Operation

Operator must know local regulations for emptying a holding tank.

7.1 OPTION 1: DTD02 discharge control panel (g.

1. When boat is in unrestricted waters and pump-out is desired, insert key into switch and turn to

momentary“start”position(A1).Allowkeytoreboundto“pumpon”position(A2).

2. Ifseacockisclosed,theinterlockswitchsendsasignaltothepanel,theyellow“caution”

indicatorturnson,andthedischargepumpwillnotstart.Opentheseacock(B3),turnkeyto

momentary“start”position,thenletitreboundto“pumpon”position.Greenlightindicateswhen

the discharge pump is operating.

3. Whenpump-outiscomplete,turnkeyto“Off”position(C4),closeseacock(C5),andremove

key from switch.

Caution!

Donotallowdischargepumptooperateforanextendedperiodoftimewhenthereisno

dischargefromholdingtank.Damagetopumpmayresult.

1. WhentheDometicTankMonitorpanelreads“full”andboatisinunrestrictedwaters,insertkeyinto

switchandturntomomentary“start”position(A1).Allowkeytoreboundto“pumpon”position

(A2).

2. Ifseacockisclosed,theinterlockswitchsendsasignaltothepanel,theyellow“caution”

indicatorturnson,andthedischargepumpwillnotstart.Opentheseacock(B3),turnkeyto

momentary“start”position,thenletitreboundto“pumpon”position.Greenlightindicateswhen

the discharge pump is operating.

3. Whenpump-outiscompleteandTankMonitorpanelreads“empty”,pumpwillautomaticallyshut

offandgreenlightwillshutoffwhilekeyremainsin“pumpon”position(C4).Turnkeyto“off”

position,closeseacock(C5),andremovekeyfromswitchafterpump-outiscompletetosecure

pump.
